We’re in an interesting space right now technology-wise. We have AI that is capable of driving cars, summarizing search results, and a whole lot more besides. AI is making its presence felt from the boardroom to the bedroom.
With TechJury predicting 62% of top execs using AI to identify opportunities already, it has already made a significant impact on the way we do business.
At this stage, it’s in the commercial sector that AI has made the biggest splash. But you don’t have to feel left out at home. If you have a smart device or computer in your home, you’ve likely already used AI. Every time that you ask Siri, Cortana, Google, or Alexa to look something up, you’re using AI.

The advantages of our personal and business lives are unmistakable. They can help us streamline processes and procedures at work and take over boring, repetitive tasks. Many accounting programs these days have AI built into them.
This allows them to quickly accomplish tasks that would take us hours. Take capturing a bank statement onto the system, for example. With AI, this can be done in a matter of seconds. With humans, three pages of statements might take around an hour to capture. AI saves us time.
What’s more, AI delivers accurate results every time. You won’t see a computer forgetting to capture an entry, skip a line by accident, or incorrectly transcribe figures.
Have we reached the point where we need to guard against the kind of all-out attack shown in movies like Terminator? Is it time to acknowledge that AI runs the show? Not just yet, but companies like Twitter have already.TechJury started using big data and AI. Furthermore, AI has advanced significantly over the last few years, but we’re a long way off the kind of Terminator scenario glorified in popular fiction.
That’s not to say that the idea is completely ludicrous. We do have to be practical here and realize that the nightmarish scenario could actually be something to guard against in the future. Having said that, it is not likely to happen during our lifetimes.
For now, though, AI is one aspect of tech that is making our lives easier. If you’d like to learn even more about this great topic, check out the infographic below.
